Hosts and Guides
Dave and Loretta Hamilton, owners of Antelope Valley Outfitters and Reed Hamilton Ranch, have an avid love of the outdoors and related activities. As your hosts, they will see that you receive not only the best hunting experience, but also great lodging and home-cooked meals. Dave is the fourth generation of Hamiltons to live on the acreage north of the tiny town of Thedford and will be your expert guide.
Lodging
Lodging is provided in a private bunkhouse. This hunting themed home offers two bedrooms and one bathroom and comfortably sleeps four. There is a separate kitchen and living area as well.
Dining
Loretta provides three hearty meals per day. Breakfast will be before dawn, so hunters can get a jump on the day. Lunch and dinner will be served at the convenience of the hunters, as you never know when the big one will come along!
Nebraska Sand Hills
About a quarter of Nebraska is covered by the Sand Hills, so called because the hills are entirely made of sand. The Sand Hills are Pleistocene sand dunes derived from glacial outwash eroded from the Rockies, and now stabilized by vegetation.
The Sand Hills sit atop the massive Ogallala Aguifer marshes, thus both temporary and permanent shallow lakes are common in low-lying parts of the Sand Hills. The eastern and central sections of the region are drained by tributaries of the Loup River and the Niobrara River , while the western section is largely composed of small interior drainage basins.
A hunting experience in the beautiful Nebraska Sandhills, for your choice of game, with homestyle accommodations. What more could you ask for?
